This Transport Canada license is required to operate any power-driven vessel in Canada.

Sail Canada Basic Coastal Navigation
Basic navigation course teaches the fundamentals of navigation, how to read charts and plot passages.

Sail Canada Intermediate Coastal Navigation
Intermediate navigation course teaches the running fix, coping with set and drift, and tides and currents.
16 Hours / $395 (+ Sail Canada Student Fee)
To gain the full Sail Canada Coastal Navigation standard students must successfully complete both the Basic & Intermediate courses.
Members can use their course credit towards all Navigation Courses.
Sail Canada Celestial Navigation
Learn to navigate using the sun, moon and stars; basic concepts include sun-run-sun and use of a sextant.
