Set sail on Toronto’s iconic waterfront with our fleet of cruising yachts, ideal for relaxed outings and time on the water with friends or family. Our Niagara 35, Hunter 240, and Mirage 27s are classic, dependable boats that offer a comfortable and authentic sailing experience.
These vessels are available to experienced sailors, or we can arrange a certified skipper for a more relaxed outing.

To charter one of our yachts, prior sailing experience on comparable vessels is required. Please complete our online Boating Resume Form for review and approval before booking.


If you do not yet have the required experience, we’re happy to help—simply call our office at (416) 203-3000 or complete our Charter Inquiry Form to arrange a certified skipper or instructor to join you on board for an additional fee of $70–$80 per hour.

Niagara 35

Capacity: Up to 9 people
Sailing Area: Inner & Outer Harbour
Required Experience: No experience required. This vessel is not available for bareboat charters; however, a certified instructor/skipper can be provided (see rate below).

This classic 35 ft yacht, designed by Hinterhoeller, is well-suited for comfortable cruising on Toronto Harbour. It is also used within our training fleet for Intermediate Cruising courses.

The Hunter 240 is a versatile and easy-to-handle cruising sailboat, ideal for relaxed outings on Toronto Harbour. Its simple layout and responsive handling make it a popular choice for experienced sailors looking for a straightforward day on the water.

Charter Booking Guidelines

Booking & Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings made more than 30 days in advance require a 25% deposit

  • Bookings made within 30 days require full payment

  • Rentals may be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior for a $25 rescheduling fee

  • All bookings are subject to a $1.95 non-refundable booking fee

In the event of unsafe weather conditions (including thunderstorms or sustained winds over 20 knots), Toronto Harbour Nautical Centre reserves the right to cancel bookings.

If a booking is cancelled due to weather, refunds are not issued, and an alternate date will be arranged within the same season
